Teaming up with Ruiz Academy to boost junior coaching

Hellenic Athletic Club is proud to announce a new partnership with Brisbane-based Ruiz Football Academy (RFA) for the 2025 season. Our focus is on improving the quality of coaching for our junior teams, ensuring our young players get the best guidance possible.

What This Means for Our Junior Coaches

RFA will work directly with our junior coaches to share practical training techniques and proven methods. . Here’s what you can expect:

• Tailored Coaching Programs: RFA will deliver workshops and training sessions specifically designed for our junior coaches. This means more effective drills, better player management, and a clearer focus on building technical skills and game awareness.

• Practical Clinics: Luis will travel to Darwin to provide practical clinics for coaches and players. These sessions are all about hands-on learning and will help our coaches teach basic skills like balance, coordination, and ball control in a fun and engaging way.

  
  

• Mentorship and Support: Our coaches will benefit from direct mentorship from experienced RFA staff. This support will help our coaching team refine their approach, build better training sessions, and create a positive environment for our young players.

Luis Ruiz, founder of RFA and a former professional player from Costa Rica, brings a passion for football and a commitment to developing the next generation of players.
